Great for some uses.

"This is my 3rd ruck pack…I love the compartments, the quality of the build, the backs design. The zippers as always. This is the first pack I had that’s not made in the USA, and I didn’t notice any quality issues. However, I’m in the process of returning this pack because the straps are not comfy like the GR2 or Bullet from 2023. Tried to ruck with 30 lbs and it’s cutting into my shoulders bad. Love the size, but the straps are just too thin to enjoy this as I intended. If you need this as a travel/work bag, it’s 100% great. If you’re thinking as a ruck, I’d save up more and go for a GR1."

Skateboarding during constellation

"Great hardware to keep your deck secured, tons and tons of storage. The only downside is no space for internal water bladder. Lots of compartments to secure your ACRT however."

Skate Ruck -- two thumbs up!!

"I only recently learned about the GORUCK Skate Ruck. I enjoy skating and I have many skate decks that I want to use out and about. This is the perfect bag for this use case. I can carry my board (very snugly) and some gear (say a camera and a notebook or two, plus an iPad (or even a laptop)). This bag keeps my hands free when I am carrying my skate, letting me go on my fun photo + skate excursions. This would've been my perfect bag back in my college days when I'd commute using my skateboard. Now I can use this for fun trips out and about."

Perfect Every Day Carey

"It’s rigid out of the box but that’s part of the durability. It’s my EDC now son it’s breaking in quickly. I haven’t found anything to complain about 5 out 5 and everything I had hoped for"

No skateboard - No problem!

"I used the Skate Ruck as an EDC for a small boat, close interaction, Grey whale tour in Baja California. No skate board this trip but I switched from flip flops to water/boat shoes using the skate board straps to hold the footwear in between boat runs. I also used the straps to hold a jacket during hikes for the desert climate temperature changes. The straps made for quick and convenient access."

Super unique pack

"Love this backpack. It’s super unique and at the same time practical and tough. One of my favorites for sure"

Non-skater, but still a great bag!

"Another awesome bag from GoRuck. This is my first dual compartment GoRuck bag, so it’s got a little more “bulk” sticking out from my back than I’m used to, but I think that is going to be extremely helpful for traveling. I haven’t had a chance to use the straps/ clips yet, but when the time comes for me to throw a wet coat on there—rather than on the inside—it’ll be an excellent solution. The zippers are the rubberized/ waterproof style, but they are NOT super grippy when opening and closing—a good combination of rain protection and function."

"Perfect size and well rounded bag for rucking or normal use."

Great ruck. 6'2" muscular 230lbs

"Great ruck. 6'2" muscular 230lbs and this ruck fits my torso perfectly with the aide of a sternum strap. With three handles, the ruck is more than adequate size (18L but really a 23L at least) for 3-4 day trips. The ruck's front straps are quite useful and secure, among other things, my collapsible walking sticks when traveling. Every aspect of its design (3 compartments) and execution exudes rugged quality that GORUCK is known for. The bag's craftsmanship (fyi built in Vietnam I believe, but backed by Scars) and price-per liter make it one of the best buys of the year."

Badass as possible!

"I just luv this Pack! I am a Skateboarder since my early days, but this badass beauty is the first SkateRuck I definitely fall in love with. Never before I had such a great pack in my hands or on my back 👊🏼 I changed my Rucker 4. 0 with the skate Ruck because I can do my WOD's with it and also carry it every day and also to my skate sessions of course. Thanks GORUCK!"
