NYLON PER MAGGIORE RESISTENZA

Per rendere il tessuto sufficientemente resistente, utilizziamo il nylon (aggiungendo poi un po' di elasticità). La versione in poliestere ha ripetutamente fallito i nostri test e ci è costata un anno in più che non riavremo mai indietro.

PESO PIUMA

Il tessuto ToughMesh™ pesa solo 100 GSM (grammi per metro quadrato). Si tratta del 30-40% in meno rispetto ai normali tessuti tecnici. Il misto cotone/poliestere pesa 145 GSM, mentre le altre magliette tecniche arrivano a 170-190 GSM: una differenza notevole.

FLUSSO D'ARIA AUMENTATO

Le microperforazioni sono intessute nel tessuto per aumentare la traspirabilità, accelerare i tempi di asciugatura e ridurre il peso. Sono piccole ma efficaci, senza però compromettere l'estetica della maglietta.

ToughMesh™ offre una protezione UPF 35. Ciò significa che la nostra maglietta proteggerà dai raggi UV. Il sole è molto potente, soprattutto in Florida.

DURATA PIÙ LUNGA

Prima della tessitura in Italia, alle fibre viene aggiunto un trattamento antimicrobico. Questo processo garantisce una durata significativamente maggiore, eliminando i cattivi odori anche dopo ripetuti lavaggi. I tessuti di qualità inferiore vengono semplicemente "rivestiti" dopo la lavorazione, un trattamento che si consuma in pochi cicli di lavaggio ad alta potenza.

LA QUALITÀ RICHIEDE TEMPO

Per completare ogni rotolo di tessuto occorrono 6 ore di lavoro, utilizzando aghi da 44 gauge. Per un tessuto standard occorrono 45 minuti e si utilizzano aghi da 20 gauge.

CUCITURE SULLE SPALLE

Abbiamo scelto di cucire le cuciture fuori dalla spalla per ridurre l'attrito quando si indossa uno zaino, cosa che speriamo facciate spesso.

"Ci sono voluti cinque anni per trovare il tessuto giusto per realizzare la migliore maglia tecnica che abbia mai indossato. Sappiamo come si costruiscono le cose per bene, ma in questo caso ciò che ci sfuggiva era un tessuto di altissima qualità. Le versioni precedenti erano resistenti, ma troppo pesanti. Erano comode, ma non si asciugavano abbastanza velocemente. Nel corso degli anni abbiamo testato tantissimi tessuti eccellenti, collaudati per altri usi come il ciclismo o la corsa, ma tutti presentavano un difetto fatale: la fragilità. Era scoraggiante fallire ripetutamente."

"I like the color and the fit, it's not tight and not too loose. The shirt is comfortable and I wear it to the office and down the block. I bought a sunhoodie in the same color. I don't use the thumb holes often only when driving or when using gloves. It's quick dry so I can grab it out of the washer and throw it on. It's my new favorite shirt. "Could have been the greatest shirt of all time. The arms are too long to allow for the thumb holes. No where in the description or pictures does it say it has thumb holes. I don’t understand why you would want your palms covered with a shirt that is designed for working out, picking up bags/weights. I would not order again until the sleeve issue was fixed."
