Outstanding Quality and Will Last for Years

"This is hands-down the best quality shoe I’ve ever owned. I bought my first pair of Blue Mackalls in 2022 and was immediately impressed by the materials and build. The soles are outstanding and the fit was perfect right out of the box. The subtle color makes them versatile for almost any occasion. Four years later, these are still my favorite shoes. I wash them in the machine about every other month, and they always come out looking brand new. I’m also amazed that they don’t develop any odor, even after lots of wear. The insides remain in great shape with no holes or worn spots, which is never the case with any of my other shoes. I also wanted to mention that I walk with my feet pointed outward and this causes the outer heels to wear quickly. As you can see from the pictures, the soles have held up with minimal wear. I don’t own a lot of shoes but I do have three pairs of Mackalls because they are absolutely worth the price. For durability, comfort, and style, these are a 5/5. Highly recommend!"

Mackalls vs Tennis shoes: Go with Mackall!

"Solid shoe for stability and grip on any surface. Don’t overlook a shoe designed for rucking. I started my journey with tennis shoes (Asics) and destroyed those marshmallows in a very short time. Mackalls are great for weight and distance. They really make the difference in my opinion. Thank you."

Perfection!

"Within minutes of opening the box, my new Mackalls were on the trail for 10K. Perfect fit - Ghillie lacing is superior. The grey color is also perfect, not too dark and concealing ticks. Not too light collecting stains. Good traction, even on slippery wet wood."

Upgrade from my Ballistic Trainers

"Love my Ballistic Trainers for the gym and everyday wear (bring them back!). I was rucking in the Trainers but wanted to preserve them so I bought the Mackall. Size 11 fits tight in the Trainers, but size 11 was just right in the Mackall - there is some extra room up front for thick socks. Mackall is a solid beast but with enough flexibility and ventilation to be real comfortable for summer rucks on pavement or light terrain. If the trail is technical, I’d probably opt for a mid top. First couple miles the aggressive instep and offset were noticeable but it quickly smoothed out. Had no issues with the heel cup (featured in some negative reviews) - I laced them to the top eyelet and got a good lockdown. Overall, prefer the comfort of these for rucking over the Ballistic Trainers."

The only shoe to have.

"Yes! Got miles on them already. Love the fit and support of Go Ruck shoes. I had several pair of Rough Runners when my Brooks couldn’t keep up. This is the first pair of Mackall’s but the same awesome support and durability I expect from Go Ruck shoes"

Two Thumbs Up

"Wanted an off-road running shoe and am very impressed. Fit comfortably the first day, the quality is obvious and they look great. It’s also quickly became my favorite camping shoe with the protection of recycled plastics and 4x4-like grip hiking up steep hills. Most expensive pair of shoes that I own but would buy them again in a heartbeat. Didn’t think I was going to be rucking but now I weight up while walking the dog."

Mackall

"I’ve used these shoes for hiking in hilly terrain. They are great for climbs and descents. They were comfortable out of the box. They have good traction with only slight slipping when I’m in sandy areas with hard pan below. The only drawbacks I’ve encountered are a small tear in the upper from getting snagged on vegetation and my feet sliding when sidehilling. These are great for trail hiking."

Bo J. (4/5)

My Perfect Shoe

"Great shoes. I have very flat feet, with damaged, painful ankles. These shoes are the only ones I have found that work with my inserts and allow me to do what I love for extended periods of time."

Spencer J. (5/5)

Perfect for RUCKING

"Rucked 30 miles in them, out of the box. Feet felt great. Can't ask for much more than that!"

Jason M. (5/5)

great shoes

"I bought these to primarily be a shoe for HIIT / tactical athelete workouts on concrete, grass, and gravel. Coming from barefoot shoes, I needed something with more cushion, grip, and versatility. While I think my feet are the problem and I will need something else long-term, these shoes hit the mark for fit, finish, and utility. They are stable under a barbell (225lbs) and comfortable under long farmers carries (120lbs/200m). They are responsive enough to get the job done for sprints and slow jogs. Even though the ride is stiff for those uses, the soles have a great amount of flexibility"
