    6 juin 1944 — Jour J. Le plus grand débarquement amphibie de l'histoire. Les forces alliées prennent d'assaut la Normandie pour briser la tyrannie et changer le monde, au prix de pertes terribles.

    Aux premières heures de l'aube, la 82e division aéroportée fut parachutée derrière les lignes ennemies, s'emparant d'objectifs clés et combattant pendant 33 jours sans relève. Leur courage et leur sacrifice ont contribué au succès de l'invasion.

    En 2026, GORUCK retourne en Normandie pour le 82e anniversaire du Débarquement. Nous parcourons les plages, les haies et la Pointe du Hoc. Nous portons un fardeau. Nous honorons le sacrifice. Nous nous souvenons pourquoi la liberté a un prix.
