The purpose of a weight vest was never to make it harder to breathe. We cut a hole in our plates to take the weight off your diaphragm and give you some breathing room. This means better breathing during tough workouts and better recovery between sets. Then we added the swimmer’s cut and lowered neckline with movement in mind for the best weight vest for the most dynamic exercises. We finished the plates off with a powder coating to combat rust and stand the test of time.
The plates are compatible with our Rucking Weight Vest ONLY. They’re sold in pairs for total weights (with the vest) of 14, 20, and 30lbs.

"These plates are a very cool design. The way they contour with the vest allows them to be close to the body; doesn't hinder mobility. The neck cut outs are also very good. Helps when having to do lifting movements as well as fast transitions from standing to prone. Plenty of neck room. Sometimes you forget you have plates in the vest!"
"The quality of the plate is great. My only con is the shape of the plate as I find the rigidity uncomfortable pressing against my sternum, shoulders and rib cage (I will continue to try to get use to it). I am currently looking into steel shot filled flexible plates that can fit in the front pocket. I also would have liked to see the 14.25 lb plates be in stock."
"So, just some background, I have been an officer for nearly 8 years. I have worn a rifle plate many times and an outer carrier every day at work. Having said that, I would much rather wear a heavy rifle plate than wear this. I understand what they were thinking, but the cutout in the center works against them, as does the recess on the bottom crossbar. This, plus the fact that the vertical bars are deeper than they are wide, creates a concentration of force on the pecs and shoulder blades. If they removed the cutout or at least flattened out the frame, it would disperse the force better, but the way it is designed basically maximizes the amount of force placed on points of contact. This makes them very uncomfortable to wear. The larger sizes may be a little better because they are thicker but the 6. 25lb wieght is not the way to go."
"Great purchase. The plates where delivered in perfect condition. Box held up perfectly. The weights took some effort to put in new vest but fit super snug. No bouncing around and vest was amazing. Been on three rucks and can’t wait to put more hurting on the equipment."

"I've only got 5 or 6 sessions of road work in with these but loving the challenge thus far. I'm at 190lbs so started with the 20lb all-in kit and its a really nice change up to my walking routine post strength training. Great quality materials so far. I do agree with a few of the reviews that the side straps could be about 2 inches longer. I'm able to strap up with the last 1 inch or so of velcro but afraid that may wear down long term."
