KEEPS SAND IN

We took the same triple locking velcro closure from our Filler Bags and applied this to the closing on the med ball throat. Then we added another layer of velcro with paracord laces to tie it up tightly. The opening is finished off with a Closure Flap that velcros on top to make the ball smooth with no friction points.

No Zippers Aka No Weak Points

Bang and throw your sand med ball around without the fear of crushed zippers. Velcro works every time and can withstand the beating you put on it during your workout.

SUPERIOR CONSTRUCTION

Primarily built from 1000 Denier Cordura, it is preferred material for all Special Forces Rucks because it is resistant to the rigors of everything, including war. It's tried and tested. It’s the material we trust for our rucks, so we trust it for our sand training equipment too. Our medicine balls are also constructed with a floating internal chamber (basically a floating liner) that allows for extra stretch internally and keeps any sand from getting out.

WHY SIT-UPS ARE BAD FOR YOU

Sit-ups are known as the gold standard for assessing core strength. Basically, the thought is the more sit-ups you can do, the more “rock hard” your abs will be. But have you ever thought about how this old-school exercise could actually be harming you in the long run?

Take the 200M Med Ball Challenge

During your next workout, between each round add in an extra curveball. Everyone has to pick up the heaviest Med Ball that they can carry, and they can’t drop it for 200M. If you drop it, you have to do 100 burpees (your friends can even count it out for you if you want!). So simple, just don’t drop it. Pick up your weight, carry it 200M, and let us know how you do.
