"This weighted vest is the best. Quality durability, and comfort. I started with a regular ruck but having had back surgeries (several) I transitioned to the Achilles 30lbs weighted vest. I cannot get enough of this vest, I get all I can handle with comfort I didn’t know was possible for me. Evenly weighted comfortable straps, and the fit is top tear."
"Achilles weighted vest was delivered September 10th. I like to do a 9. 11 mile ruck every year on or around September 11th pending scheduling conflicts. I opened the package, threw the Achilles on, and rucked 9. 11 miles in 1:43. Very high quality product and I love how it balances the weight on the front and back vs just the back like my Rucker 4. 0. I have two different Rucker 4. 0s, a 20 L and 25 L and have done 2 Norwegian Foot Marches and the Royal Danish Air Force March with them. I will train with both but the Achilles shares the extremely tough and sturdiness a Goruck product has. Thanks for doing what y’all do."
"the Achilles vest is a game changer, I put it on when I run my daily errands - which allows me to get a good sweat on while getting my stuff done. the best part about it, for me, is that this is an activity that I can easily sustain...it's so simple to implement into my daily routine. will likely be purchasing the back-pack at some point, once I've built up my endurance and strength with the Achilles."

"This thing is comfortable and fits great. Much more comfortable than a metal plate vest. The 30 pounder is a good weight for me but needs to be tighter than I like in order to keep it from moving with complex movements. 20 pounder might be better for wearing during full workouts."
"I'm very happy with the product. I started with a cheap vest from Amazon to make sure I liked the weighted vest and quickly upgraded to the Achilles. Comfortable and cool looking. Looking forward to years of use. If they had a place for a phone it would be 6 out of 5 stars."
"This may be my favorite GR product and favorite way to carry weight. I'm fairly OG and have had every Ruck and participated in a couple events. I'll never part with my original GR1 and duct taped bricks. But, this vest us an absolute Cadillac in comparison. The cummerbund plate carrier style system is simple and intuitive, the sizing is perfect, the materials are comfortable, and the 30lbs feels substantial. I've done 12 miles over the 2 days since I received it and love how it carries. My only complaint is I wish it was US made. Also wouldn't mind a flap to lock in the hook and loop for the front like the back has. But, I gotta say in over 15 years of buying Goruck gear, this is an absolute winner."
"I have the older plate carrier vest. This one beats it hands down! It’s adjustable so it conforms to the body. It moves with you and stays in place during vigorous exercise. I highly recommend this one!"
"I still have a gut and the side straps could be a little longer. They still attach, bit id feel better if they were 2" longer or so. Besides that, im lookimg forward to abusing it😁"
"Good vest except the first time I went on a run with it I did 5 miles and didn’t wear a shirt, the hook parts of the Velcro face your body on both sides and if you have a decent sized upper torso some of that is exposed to your skin, after the run I had a decent sized rug burn on both sides of my back which I didn’t notice until after, need other options for the strap sizes."
