Mi "bolsa de viaje" en Irak era más del tamaño de un GR2 y era grande, pesada y llena de muchas cosas que necesitaría si nuestro vehículo quedaba inutilizado y teníamos que luchar por nuestras vidas. Cuando volví a casa en América, "go-bag" se convirtió en "go-ruck" se convirtió en GORUCK, y GR2 se convirtió en nuestro buque insignia de viaje ruck y mi favorito personal.

"I’ve never wrote a review on something that’s 11 years old. First time for everything I guess! The GR2 I ordered in 2015. One year as a police officer and I wanted a robust rucksack. So I went for the GR2 and it’s never let me down. Still serving and so is the GR2. Honestly, I’ve used the GR2 daily for 11 years and even used it on holidays and trips out. I’ve never once had an issue with the zips, the buckles, mesh pockets, handles, molle or straps. The bottle pocket and field pocket are awesome to! The only thing I haven’t used (Come to think of it, I don’t know where it is!) is the waist belt. If you’re thinking about a rucksack for daily use and abuse; Goruck is the one. The reason I’m reviewing, is because I’m looking for something else and Goruck have a range of great kit. Then I thought, I best leave a review for the rucksack I still use!"

Good quality except for the design of the zippers.

"The materials and workmanship of the backpack are very good. I really like the look of it, and it provides the organization I was hoping for. What I find very annoying is opening and closing the two main compartments of the backpack. The backpack gets stuck in both curves of the opening and can only be opened and closed with a lot of force. This is because the rain cover overlaps the zipper and is extremely tight. I really hope that this will improve with use, as it is very annoying and I don't understand why it was designed this way. All in all, I am reasonably satisfied with it."

"I was waiting for this backpack quite a long time as the EU shop is always sold out. Once 1 pc appears there, sometimes after midnight, I bought it without thinking. Goruck is legend. It arrived in 3 days and I am not disappointed. The look, the build, the flexibility with molle, the space inside. . . I packed for a 2 weeks trip absolutely easily. If I need to pick 1 thing that I can take with me on an uninhabited island, it would not be a Goruck backpack. Now I have one :-) !"

"The GORUCK GR2 40L is hands down the best travel backpack I’ve ever owned. Made from 1000D Cordura, it’s tough as nails, with bombproof stitching and YKK zippers that can take a beating. The clamshell design and multiple compartments make packing effortless, while the thick shoulder straps keep it comfortable, even when fully loaded. It’s spacious, carry-on compliant, and built to last a lifetime. If you want a rugged, versatile, and well-organized travel bag, this is it."
