COMFORTABLE SHOULDER STRAPS

Our proprietary, dual density foam is built to keep your shoulders and back feeling good under short and long rucks, for years to come. The MOLLE webbing allows you to customize with a sternum strap, phone pouch, or other accessories of your choice.

Reflective Strip for Visibility

It can be hard enough finding the time to work out, don’t be limited by the daylight hours. The Basic Rucker features a 2” reflective strip for safe rucking in low-light conditions.

Easy-Access

Two side pockets on the Basic Rucker mean you can reach your stuff faster. One elastic pocket for a water bottle, and a sheath pocket for your phone, wallet, or snacks.

PROVEN MATERIALS

Ripstop ROBIC® is lightweight and water resistant while remaining tough as nails. Next to your skin on the underside of the straps and on the back panel, we use 210D CORDURA®, the same proven fabric from our Rucker 4.0 that does not irritate the skin when worn shirtless or with just a bra on.

20MM RAISED LUMBAR SUPPORT

Who knew what a difference a little raised padding could make. But it does! This is the same feature on our proven Rucker 4.0. It helps contour to your spine and provides additional comfort to your tailbone or lower back. Feeling is believing on this one, whether at mile 1 or mile 100.

MONSTER APPROVED

Monster has personally overseen the testing of the Basic Rucker, literally from the ground up, on countless rucks in and around the mean streets of Jax Beach, Florida. Use hard and often, he says. And put me down, let’s go!

Awesome bag but. . . .

"I love Goruck and ive bought plenty from the EU store and I live in Ireland but when I go visit the US page it just looks so much better and there are better deals, please add some of the sexeness and deals to the drab EU site please, much love Neil"

"Tutto bene. Ottimo prodotto ben fatto."

Robust

Awsome bag

"I find it perfect for my introduction tonrucking. It is very confortable! Sometimes I use it as my EDC as material and design is so nice, it is too bad it has no pockets or organization for my daily carry."

Basic Rucker.

"Love my new basic Rucker, I’ve the Rucker 4. 0 with a 30lb plate in, pain to put it in and out, for daily use. So The basic Rucker is my new daily pack with a 10lb weight in, and my 4. 0 pack for my heavier rucks. Perfect fit and perfect for daily use. Love and highly recommend it. 👊👍"

Excellent light well designed bag.

"I was supporting crew and Camper driver, for my Brother in law, (Tachtical Athlete) on his 1000 mile Ruck, lands end to Jon o groats, and he inspired me to start rucking, I was using his old bag, but thought i would get a black one, as I wasn’t military. Great bag."

Collecting RuckZaks

"The bag is solid and well built, the price is awesome. I really liked the water bottle pockets on the side and the form. The big thing - this bag has just one compartment internally and a pocket for weights. I use it with my FrameWork 12 where it fits perfectly. I suffer from the rough velcro, but its durability and strength is so satisfying, that I don't care. The only thing about this bag is it does not have any other pockets inside and outside. A zipper pocket would be a very good addition and I would envision a big outside pocket stretching deep inside on top as most of the stuff I put there will anyways gravitate to the bottom. The reflective stripe is another concern making it look less neat and official and limiting the use a bit. Now when I am writing this I suddenly think that my idea about the big pocket stretching inside with the zipper from outside can be done by some bag repair shop. Really curious how it will work out."

Basic in the best sense

"I'm loving the Basic Rucker I bought. It's basic in the best sense as in absolutely covering the base needs I had. I use it as a work packbag and it fits the weights, laptop, even gym clothes and a small water bottle. I have it basically 100% full but it handles all that and is a joy to wear!"

Basic Rucker is top

"Will highly recommend this brand and this Rucker. I’m a weekend Rucker and this bad boy with the weights that come with it are the best."

— Victor K. (5/5)

Aged Basic RUCK-man

"In my eighties, after breaking femur twice started rucking a couple of years ago to re-build strength & stability. Used an RPC which worked well but lacked storage. Now use new Basic Rucker which is ideal. Keeps plate high & provides adequate storage. Perfect for me. Joe."
