Great piece for the workout arsenal

"Well worth the cost, ordered the long version because I wanted to have room to increase the weight capacity as I progress. Go Ruck is the Festool of the rucking industry. No one surpasses their quality, it makes sense that they offer such a phenomenal repair policy. I'd be shocked if they ever had to repair one!"

Very Uncomfortable

"I should have done more research. I got the bag, was super excited, but it's way too uncomfortable. No matter how I adjust it, the (very hard, stiff) straps dig into my rib cage. Had my friend try it and had the same issue. Searched online, and apparently, this is a known issue with this bag on Reddit. It's a quality bag, but it's unusable because of how uncomfortable the fit is."

"I’m 6’2”, 205lbs with a fairly athletic build. I ordered the “regular” size carrier and a 30lb weight to add a little resistance to my “easy” zone 2 walks. I find the shoulder straps to be very uncomfortable and I can’t find a sweet spot for them no matter if I wear this high and tight or let the straps out a little bit. They dig into the sides of my pecks and armpit area and limit my range of motion in my arms. Not sure if a “long” would solve this issue but I don’t think that I have big traps to justify ordering the “long” like they recommend. The materials are quality and it seems to be well built but very uncomfortable for a larger frame."

devin m. (3/5)

And I would walk 500 miles.

"Loving it so far. While rucking I use a 30lb plate. The top handle has some give/bounce when using it for farmer carry, which makes me nervous but has held fine so far. Only addition I would like to see, is a load bearing handle on either or both sides."

Matthew S. (5/5)

Minimalist design, maximum gains

"I like the smaller frame against my back, reducing some back sweat. The shoulder straps do feel less comfortable than my rucker 3. 0. I never use the chest strap on my other ruckers, and found I needed to with this. I'm 6' and find the long sits comfortable. Best in specific training regiments, doing a HIIT or circuit training the small profile is preferred, without the bulk of a backpack. Probably best used in your gym or on a track field, where you don't need to carry your car keys or snacks or water bottle. would love some molle webbing to add a field pocket or water bottle holder on. This is also a great +1 so your friends can't avoid going on a ruck with you"

Jonny H. (4/5)

Love the Plate Carrier!

"The quality is amazing! Fit is fantastic. Been up the local Butte a couple of times already. Was wearing a 20lb weighted vest prior, can sure feel the difference moving to the 30lb plate. Like it so much, that I ordered the long version today with a 45lb plate. Looking forward to a "Heavy" version when they're back in stock."

Craig J. (5/5)

Not what I was hoping for.

"I purchase this ruck for use with my 45 lb plate and long rucks and it is just not comfortable at all. If I was using 30 lbs or less and going short milage it might be ideal. I can just manage 3 to 4 miles until the lack of a hip belt and the weight fully on the shoulders is too much. Unfortunately I should have gone with another style ruck."

Timothy (2/5)

I started off doing laps

"I started off doing laps around my job on my lunch break. One day decided to wear a backpack. Coworker mentioned this product and I have to say that it has changed my life. This RPC will taunt you telepathically. Gets you moving for surre, nothing like getting lost around my surrounding area with some weight on my back, it makes me feel like THE MAN while I push on. You deserve to feel that way too. Future you will thank you for respecting the weight. Take it easy, progress and shed into a better you!"

Eduardo R. (5/5)

Terrific piece of kit

"I stopped running after my lungs got nuked during COVID and went to more dedicated walking. I built a homemade weighted pack but it never rode that well on my back, weight hung too far out, etc. When I saw this plate carrier, I had to give it a go. The hardest part of this torture device, after actually walking in it, is putting it on. But once it is there and secure you can concentrate on wearing yourself out quite thoroughly. I just got back from some arduous hill climbing in it and I will be miserable later. The fact the plate rides so close to the body, not throwing you off balance, is what makes this an exercise you want to repeat. I have no complaints about the quality which is excellent. The price gave me pause, but I'm glad I bought it now. I doubt it will be money I will have to spend again."

Alex M. (5/5)

Don’t purchase if you’re a woman

"I can tell it’s well made and durable, but I was surprised by how poorly it fits and how seriously uncomfortable it is. I’m at 5’8 150lb woman (so not like I’m super petite) and the straps don’t tighten even close to enough to have the plate sit in a comfortable spot on my back. Instead it sits very low and smacks against my back as I walk. I have to keep the strap across my chest so tight just to try to keep it in position that it makes breathing uncomfortable which is not ideal for exercising. Very disappointed in this product. Definitely not worth the money."

Q&A

Will the longer ruck plate I already own work in the RPC?
No, the longer plates (for GR1) are not compatible in the RPC
New to Rucking and trying to find a durable bag for Ruck events and like the plate carrier but would be allowed. Noob question
For events, the Rucker would be a better choice as it can also fit a hydration bladder, extra clothes and food.
Hi, I have a 30lb plate (the longer 14") in my 15L Bullet Ruck which I don't think is appropriate for this pack. But I also have a pair of the 10lb plates. Any reason I couldn't stack those in the RPC instead of buying a new 20lb plate?
The RPC was designed to fit the 20 and 30lb ruck plates. The two 10lb plates could work for just rucking, but wouldn't be recommended for PT as they may shift around.
Would a 10# ruck plate fit in this carrier?
A 10lb plate will fit inside, but may move around due to its smaller shape
Is there a way to make it heavier than 30 lbs if it becomes too easy? Will there be any heavier plates made for this model?
For heavier weight check out our 20L and 25L Ruckers
