"This is an excellent GoRuck bags. I got 34L and 40L both Army Ranger colours. I love both of them. I can fit my hydration bladder in to my bag. This is my go bag when I’m travelling, hiking and biking."
GR2 is a suitcase on your back. Pack everything you need and it still fits in the overhead compartment.
It has taken us years to find a way to make one of the best rucksacks of all time even better. We added all-new 210D HT (High Tenacity) CORDURA® on the back panel and underside of the shoulder straps that doesn't irritate skin or chew up apparel (looking at you, merino wool).
Makes it easier to pack and organize. No more digging through your ruck, trying to find something at the bottom. Special Forces medical rucks share a similar design.
The separate compartment next to your back is extra reinforced to securely take a laptop into combat. Complete with a false bottom so your laptop won't even notice when you set your ruck down.
Shoulder straps and top handle are extra padded to carry heavier loads more comfortably.
2 large compartments for more organization. The inner compartment has 3 pockets and the outer compartment has 3 pockets and a built-in field pocket.
The outer compartment has 4 internal pockets: 2 large mesh zippered pockets, 1 small go-to zippered pocket and 1 built-in field pocket.
The inner compartment has 3 internal pockets: 1 large elastic pocket, one large mesh zippered pocket, and one small go-to zippered pocket
GR2 ORIGINS
The Original Go-Bag
My “go-bag” in Iraq was more the size of a GR2 and was big, heavy, and full of lots of stuff I would need if our vehicle got disabled and we needed to fight for our lives. When I was back home in America, “go-bag” became “go-ruck” became GORUCK, and GR2 became our flagship travel ruck and my personal favorite.

"Can already tell this is going to last a lifetime. On the heavier side and a lot of money but i appriciate the art of top tier quality and lifetime products."
"I am hoping the zippers are much easier to open than on my waterproof GR2. Honestly, I didn’t really want to buy another one but the zippers are so tough on the waterproof GR2, it makes it painful for every day use. Other than that, the bag is fantastic. Big fan. I gave it to my son for a trip to Japan and he absolutely loved it. It’s a great bag. Well done."
"Quality gear as always. Under promise, over deliver. The GR2 is functionally brilliant. Pockets where they should be, zippers that don’t break. Easy access to all spaces. Beyond durable, it’s engineered to last. It’s not cheap. But it will last. But once cry once but you’ll be grateful you did. K. D. Class 45"
"The decision to go with 1000D Corsairs on the straps and back panel totally ruins this product. I strongly advise getting a bag with the softer and much more comfortable 210D on the straps and back panel instead. I was ”tricked” to order this thinking it had 210D as it is used as the selling points when you scroll down. When I got the bag I needed it so thought it probably would not matter much. I was wrong. This bag itself is great but due to the stiffness of the straps and back panel I strongly urge you to get another version with 210D instead. I have a Rucker 4 and it is vastly more comfortable than this."
"I've been holding off on getting this one for over a year and finally bit the bullet. Wish I had done it a lot sooner. This was the perfect upgrade from my GR1 26L as my EDC pack"
"The product page has a video and a section about how brilliant it is with 210d Cordura on the back panels and straps yet the product doesn’t have these features. Rubbish."
"I haven't used it on a trip yet but the quality seems high."
"This is my third bag from GoRuck. I’ve got the original bullet, the GR1, and now the GR2. I’ve been very impressed with my Bullet and GR1. I’ve had each for years and they’ve been a constant companion throughout several dozen international trips. From hikes to jobsites. When. I needed a slightly larger bag for partial week trips it came down to two bags the GR2 or the GR3."
"Bought for a friend and they love it so much that they are ready to buy another for their friend."
