"I have a GR-1 that is one of the collabs with Huckberry and I really like it. Seems like the plate carrier materials and construction aren't quite as good as the GR-1. The loops on the straps for the chest strap start at the top of the strap so they don't seem like they add much value. Maybe I am missing something but even the lowest loop makes the chest strap more of a neck strap. I wasn't planning on using the chest strap so no problem. I plan on using the plate carrier with a 10 lb weight for when I mow the yard and similar activities and so far it has been great."

"The short and long are both great, one doesn’t really fit me better than the other, I had to purchase both to see the difference, I do lean towards the long and like the 30lb plate, I keep it high and tight and as I ruck some miles those shoulders start getting that good burn where you know results are being forged. I rotate these carriers with a couple different vests, all Goruck of course. Super quality, comfortable as can reasonably be under load and they are overbuilt to last, what more can I say?"

RPC vs weighted vest
"RPC does an excellent job to keep the weight plate “ high & tight” without swaying around or shifting position. My previous weight vest (not a GoRuck brand) shifted constantly and was bruising my spine. RPC shoulder straps felt stiff at first, no comfortable after several 5k rucks. I also like that the straps (shoulders snd sternum) don’t slip during rucking. It keeps you dialed in w/out constant readjustments. As a minimalist design, you need to add a water pouch for rucks. I added a water pouch to my upper shoulder strap and keeps out of my way for natural arm movements and swinging. Excellent upgrade RPC w/20# plate over san off brand weighted vest. I added the T-rex straps and reflective straps to this carrier. Thank you!"

Will the longer ruck plate I already own work in the RPC?
No, the longer plates (for GR1) are not compatible in the RPC
New to Rucking and trying to find a durable bag for Ruck events and like the plate carrier but would be allowed. Noob question
For events, the Rucker would be a better choice as it can also fit a hydration bladder, extra clothes and food.
Hi, I have a 30lb plate (the longer 14") in my 15L Bullet Ruck which I don't think is appropriate for this pack. But I also have a pair of the 10lb plates. Any reason I couldn't stack those in the RPC instead of buying a new 20lb plate?
The RPC was designed to fit the 20 and 30lb ruck plates. The two 10lb plates could work for just rucking, but wouldn't be recommended for PT as they may shift around.
Would a 10# ruck plate fit in this carrier?
