Le tissu ToughMesh™ ne pèse que 100 g/m² (grammes par mètre carré). C'est 30 à 40 % plus léger que les tissus techniques classiques. Un mélange coton/polyester pèse 145 g/m² et les autres t-shirts techniques entre 170 et 190 g/m² : la différence est considérable.

DURÉE DE VIE PLUS LONGUE

Un traitement antimicrobien a été intégré aux fibres avant le tissage du tissu en Italie. Ce procédé garantit une durée de vie nettement supérieure, sans odeur, même après de nombreux lavages. « Il nous a fallu cinq ans pour trouver le tissu idéal pour créer le meilleur maillot de sport que j'aie jamais porté. Nous savons fabriquer des produits de qualité ; dans ce cas précis, ce qui nous manquait, c'était un tissu d'exception. Les versions précédentes étaient résistantes, mais trop lourdes. Elles étaient confortables, mais ne séchaient pas assez vite. Nous avons testé d'innombrables tissus performants au fil des ans, éprouvés pour d'autres usages comme le cyclisme ou la course à pied, mais tous présentaient un défaut rédhibitoire : leur fragilité. C'était décourageant d'échouer sans cesse. »

"I like the color and the fit, it's not tight and not too loose. The shirt is comfortable and I wear it to the office and down the block. I bought a sunhoodie in the same color. I don't use the thumb holes often only when driving or when using gloves. It's quick dry so I can grab it out of the washer and throw it on. It's my new favorite shirt. Not what I expected

"Could have been the greatest shirt of all time. The arms are too long to allow for the thumb holes. No where in the description or pictures does it say it has thumb holes. I don’t understand why you would want your palms covered with a shirt that is designed for working out, picking up bags/weights. I would not order again until the sleeve issue was fixed."
