"First time out was a 6-miler. I developed a dime-size blister on my left heel. I plan to adjust the lacing pattern to minimize heel slip. I also got a tiny blister on the top of my right big toe directly above the MTP joint and below where the forefoot of the shoe flexes. Not sure what I can do except hope that it was a one-time occurrence. I plan to wait 2 full weeks until the skin is totally healed and retry. Today, I went back to my old running shoes since they work well here, where my route is totally smooth. I am sure that my Mackalls will work well in the future after the break in."

Love the Brand!

"Love them so far! I've done multiple rucks. Mostly on pavement some shoulders of roads. I've done anywhere from quick 1 milers to a couple of 5 milers. I'm pretty new to rucking and am using the 5.0 that my wife got me for my birthday. Trying to keep mobile at 61! I told my wife I'll be exploring some different shoes from Go Ruck in the future to include some Rough Runners, MACV Boots, and possibly some Trainers. I typically wear a 13 and that's what I bought. Perfect fit."

"This shoe is immensely comfortable. I wouldn’t say it was designed for marathon running but I believe that is intentional. Weighted workouts are amazing. My soles feel so supported and my ankle feels secure. I wouldn’t say highly recommend this shoe/boot as a trainer!"

Best shoes I’ve ever owned

"This is my second pair of these, and absolutely love them. The first pair went through four 15k Tough Mudders and well over 5-600 miles of hiking and rucking through those same four years. Only reason I had to retire them was they caught a random nail sticking out of a stud on a jobsite which cut a pretty good slice down the side. Very comfortable, and break in quickly. The aggressive tread is great for maintaining solid footing on all types of terrain. Would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who wants comfort and is tough on footwear."

Can’t GoRuck wrong

"I’m not had them for a week so far, these replaced my old rough runners. I really like the look, they are sleek and aggressive. Wear feels good so far, very comfortable for 6 hours or more on the feet all day. The aggressive tread also makes them feel very grippy. Awesome shoes looking forward to see how long they last."
